All supplies will be provided and at the completion of this four-hour class, participants will take home 1-2 completed personal themed journals either to keep for themselves or give as gifts along with a syllabus and mini instruction booklet.

Some examples of themes could include Travel, Past-Present-Future, Journey to the Soul, Garden, Baby, Wedding, Exercise, Writing-the possibilities are endless! Participants may choose to bring their favorite tools/material/found objects but it is not required. Please bring copies of any original pictures you would like to use.

Jeanne will demonstrate mixed media techniques that incorporate design with reclaimed packaging materials, junk mail, ephemera, found objects, upcycled papers, reclaimed and vintage materials, metal findings and some new materials. Cover creation, collage, base page creation, stamping, composition, and choice of two binding methods will be taught.

Participants are welcome to take a lunch break, but most people who take this class want to keep working straight through, so consider bringing a sack lunch with you. Light snacks will be provided.
